During the first half of 2026, the Department of Internal State Audit for the City of Astana conducted cameral control in the field of public procurement, covering 52,265 procurement lots with a total value of approximately KZT 2.4 trillion.
As a result of the control activities, 2,131 notifications were issued to public procurement organizers and contracting authorities concerning violations totaling KZT 37.7 billion.
Of the total number of notifications, 490 were issued under the first area of control, 341 under the second area, 620 related to contracts concluded through single-source procurement by direct contract, 580 concerned procurements conducted through the request for price quotations method, and 100 related to supplementary agreements.
The analysis of the cameral control results indicates that the most common violations involve the inclusion of requirements in tender documentation that are not предусмотрed by legislation, the improper use of single-source procurement, and violations of deadlines for the delivery of goods, performance of works, and provision of services.
The Department of Internal State Audit for the City of Astana continues to carry out systematic cameral control aimed at preventing violations of public procurement legislation and ensuring the transparency of procurement procedures.
