The Department of Internal State Audit for the Akmola region continues real-time control of budget funds using the "Online Budget Monitoring" module.
The "Online Budget Monitoring" module is applied in the fields of education, healthcare, culture, sports, and tourism. It allows for real-time control over the targeted use of budget funds, including salary payments.
Special attention is paid to the analysis of transfers to employee card accounts, which helps identify unjustified payments disguised as salary.
Inspections have already confirmed the presence of risks in a number of cases, which underscores the need for further development of digital monitoring. An integrated approach and modern technologies make control over budget funds more effective and transparent.
Thus, for the period from January 1 to June 30, 2026, the Department conducted monitoring of salary payments through OBM and sent a total of 1,055 notifications on 11,486 risky payments, of which:
in the field of education: 421 notifications on 9,225 risky payments;
in the field of culture: 596 notifications on 2,029 risky payments;
in the field of healthcare: 38 response notifications on 214 risky payments;
For 29 risky payments, where the facts of illegal payments were confirmed, the funds were returned to the state budget.
In the event of non-execution of notifications and persistence of high risks by the monitoring object, the Department appoints and conducts a state audit, based on the results of which officials will be identified and brought to disciplinary responsibility.
