Department of Internal State Audit revealed violations in the social sphere of the West Kazakhstan region

The Department of Internal State Audit for the West Kazakhstan Region, within the framework of the approved list of state audit objects for 2026, conducted an audit at the MSI "Ural Center for Special Social Services" of the Department for Coordination of Employment and Social Programs of the West Kazakhstan Region.

The purpose of the audit was to verify the compliance of planning, as well as the efficiency and legality of the use of budget funds and state assets in the social sphere.

Based on the results of the audit, financial violations totaling 2,085.1 thousand tenge were established. In particular, the following were identified:

• unjustified payments of travel expenses in the amount of 202.8 thousand tenge;
• excessive accrual and transfer of wages in the amount of 182.9 thousand tenge due to incorrect application of the coefficient;
• unjustified payments for overtime work in the amount of 1,010.3 thousand tenge;
• violations in confirming work performed under civil law contracts in the amount of 689.1 thousand tenge.

In addition, procedural violations in the field of public procurement were recorded in the amount of 45,353.9 thousand tenge.

Based on the audit results, protocols on administrative offenses were drawn up against the guilty officials in a simplified procedure for a total amount of 2,659.9 thousand tenge. The specified amounts were reimbursed to the state revenue within the established deadlines.

The Department issued an order to eliminate the identified violations, compensate for the damage caused, and also consider the issue of bringing the guilty officials to responsibility.

Currently, the order has been executed: the amount of financial violations in full (2,085.1 thousand tenge) has been reimbursed to the budget, and the responsible persons have been brought to disciplinary responsibility in the form of a reprimand.
