In accordance with the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On State Audit and Financial Control," officials of state audit and financial control bodies are obliged to comply with the requirements of official and professional ethics.
The current time of digitalization has become a powerful tool for personal communication and interaction between the authorities and society. The civil servant in the Internet platform acts as a representative of the state body. His behavior, photographs, comments and statements directly shape the image of the entire public service and determine the level of citizens' confidence in government decisions.
In this regard, civil servants are required to meet the following criteria:
- the published content should not demonstrate luxury, neglect of others, as well as cause reasonable criticism from society;
- discussions on any topics, even of an off-duty nature, should be conducted without using insults, obscene language or inciting ethnic hatred;
- civil servants should avoid the publication of unverified, false information and critical statements about the activities of state bodies;
- disclosure of official information, personal data of citizens and information constituting a state or other secret protected by law is strictly prohibited.
Compliance with these requirements helps to strengthen the authority of the civil service, increase public confidence in state bodies and form a positive image of a civil servant.
