The Department of Internal State Audit in the Turkestan Region of the Internal State Audit Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan on an ongoing basis conducts cameral control of public procurement.
As part of this work, a cameral control of the public procurement procedure was carried out, published in June 2026 on the web portal of public procurement by the communal state institution "Secondary School No. 19 named after Tole bi" of the education department of the city of Turkestan of the Education Department of the Turkestan region.
During the control, it was established that the technical specification of the procurement documentation contained requirements that could limit the equal participation of potential suppliers in the competitive environment. In particular, the technical specification provided for the need for products of a specific brand "BERGER."
Based on the results of office control, the customer was notified of the elimination of the identified shortcomings and bringing the procurement documentation in line with the current requirements.
As a result, the procurement organizer executed the Department's notification in full and properly, and the identified shortcomings in the procurement procedure were eliminated.
The Department will continue to work to ensure transparency in public procurement, develop fair competition and control the effective use of budgetary funds.
