The Department of Internal State Audit for the Akmola Region conducted an internal state audit on the compliance of the audit entity with the requirements of the budget and other legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding the use of funds held in temporary cash placement control accounts.
According to paragraph 1 of Article 3 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On State Audit and Financial Control," the purpose of state audit is to improve the efficiency of managing and using budget funds, state assets, and assets of quasi-public sector entities.
The audit revealed that the audit entity transferred funds from the temporary cash placement control account to suppliers for a total amount of 9.9 million tenge, which, in violation of the requirements of the Budget Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan, were not recorded in the accounting records as accounts receivable.

Based on the results of the audit, the Department of Internal State Audit for the Akmola Region issued an instruction to the audit entity to take measures to rectify the violations by recording the relevant transactions in the accounting records.
The audit entity has taken measures to comply with the instruction; according to the accounting statement, the violation amount of 9.9 million tenge has been rectified in the accounting records.
