As part of the nationwide environmental campaign "Taza Kazakhstan" ("Clean Kazakhstan"), implemented on the initiative of the Head of State, a large-scale environmental event titled "Tree Planting - The Beginning of a Good Deed" was held in the city of Turkestan. The staff of the Department of Internal State Audit for the Turkestan region actively participated in this noble initiative, contributing to the greening of the city's territory.
The main goal of the environmental campaign was to increase the green fund of the city of Turkestan, foster a culture of careful attitude towards the environment, and strengthen society's responsibility for nature. Furthermore, during the event, the principles of "Honest Person – Honest Work – Honest Income" were widely promoted, aimed at enhancing civic responsibility towards society.
The large-scale event was attended by the Akim (Governor) of the Turkestan region, Nuralkhan Kusherov; the Chairman of the regional Maslikhat (local representative body), Nuraly Abishov; the Chairman of the Turkestan regional branch of the AMANAT party, Altynsary Umbetaliev; deputy Akims of the region; Maslikhat deputies; heads of law enforcement agencies; representatives of regional departments and agencies; as well as employees of various institutions in the region. In total, about 800 people from 36 organizations participated in the campaign, planting tree saplings at the entrance area of the city of Turkestan.
During the event, 1,200 Crimean pine saplings and 1,000 deciduous tree saplings were planted. It is expected that these efforts will not only improve the environmental situation in Turkestan but also positively impact the natural landscape of the region.
The Department's staff participated in the environmental initiative in an organized manner, demonstrating in practice that protecting nature and maintaining environmental cleanliness is a common duty of every citizen. Through tree planting, the team showed their love for their native land and the importance of environmental culture.
Another distinctive feature of the event was the activity of young people. Students and volunteers actively engaged in the environmental work, showing that environmental culture is gradually taking root in society. Furthermore, the participation of foreign tourists who arrived in Turkestan and personally planted trees gave the event an international character.
Nature conservation and greening efforts will continue in the future. Undoubtedly, such good initiatives contribute to increasing society's environmental responsibility, improving the region, and creating a comfortable environment for residents.
