The Department of Internal State Audit for the Kostanay Region is monitoring wages through the "Online Budget Monitoring" system. As of May 5, 2026, violations related to wage overstatements amounting to 5,448.2 thousand tenge were identified. The violations have been rectified and the funds have been fully reimbursed to the budget.
The Department conducts daily analysis of risks related to wage overstatements, unjustified wage payments, and artificial inflation of hours worked or rates.
The Department also holds meetings with the State Institution "Education Department of the Akimat of Kostanay Region", the State Institution "Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Akimat of Kostanay Region", the State Institution "Healthcare Department of the Akimat of Kostanay Region", and the State Institution "Culture Department of the Akimat of Kostanay Region" regarding joint efforts to identify violations and deficiencies in wage payments.
