In the first quarter of 2026, the Department of Internal State Audit for the North Kazakhstan Region covered 9,998 procedures with a total value of 98.9 billion tenge through desk control.
Based on the control results, 1,010 notifications on the elimination of identified violations were issued, totaling 7.15 billion tenge. As of the reporting date, 1,004 notifications worth 7.12 billion tenge have been fulfilled, accounting for 99.7%.
Analysis of the results shows that the most common violations remain:
incorrect establishment of requirements for potential suppliers regarding legal capacity (including specifying an incomplete list of license subtypes or requirements not arising from the contract terms);
excessive requirements for material and labor resources;
absence of the feature for conducting procurements among entities belonging to the category of persons with disabilities;
incorrect selection of the code for goods, works, and services (GWS);
failure to establish the dumping feature;
absence of requirements for the procured products to comply with national or interstate standards when such standards exist (according to data from the online store of the Kazakhstan Institute of Standardization and Metrology).
The Department continuously works to increase the transparency of public procurement and prevent violations in this area.
