The Department of Internal State Audit for the Kostanay Region conducted 9 audit events in the first quarter of 2026.
The conducted audit events identified violations of budget legislation amounting to 190,567.6 thousand tenge, including: financial violations – 157,712.6 thousand tenge and procedural violations – 32,855.0 thousand tenge.
Violations of compliance with public procurement legislation were identified for a total amount of – 12.5 thousand tenge.
As a result of measures taken following the audit events, from the total amount of financial violations subject to recovery, reimbursement, and accounting adjustments to the budget amounting to 157,712.6 thousand tenge, 54,941.6 thousand tenge has been recovered, reimbursed, and accounted for. 5 directives were issued, which were fully complied with by the audited entities.
5 officials of the audited entities were held disciplinarily liable, including 2 managers.
Based on the results of desk control of compliance with public procurement legislation, 742 notifications were issued for an amount of 6,382,139.7 thousand tenge, of which 715 notifications for an amount of 6,188,320.8 thousand tenge were complied with.
