The Department of Internal State Audit for the Kostanay Region conducts daily monitoring of wages in the "Online Budget Monitoring" system. As of April 5, 2026, violations related to wage overstatements amounting to 4,014.4 thousand tenge were identified. The violations have been rectified and the funds have been fully reimbursed to the budget.
Additionally, the Department, in collaboration with the State Institution "Education Department of the Akimat of Kostanay Region", the State Institution "Department of Physical Culture and Sports of the Akimat of Kostanay Region", the State Institution "Healthcare Department of the Akimat of Kostanay Region", and the State Institution "Department of Culture of the Akimat of Kostanay Region", jointly holds meetings to address vulnerabilities that lead to wage overstatements and unjustified payments.
In 2026, the Department plans to expand the coverage of wage-related risks in the "Online Budget Monitoring" system.
