The Department of Internal State Audit for the city of Shymkent conducted 19 audit events based on the results of the first quarter of 2026. The audit covered state budget funds and assets totaling 45.9 billion tenge, and violations amounting to 43.3 billion tenge were identified.
Of the total volume of violations, financial violations amounted to 14.29 billion tenge, procedural violations — 28.99 billion tenge. From the amount of identified financial violations, 12.37 billion tenge were recovered and restored, including: 0.02 billion tenge reimbursed to the budget, and 12.35 billion tenge restored through the supply of goods, execution of works, provision of services, and reflection in accounting records.
During the reporting period, the department held 2 officials administratively liable, imposing and collecting administrative fines totaling 432.4 thousand tenge. Based on the results of audit activities, 7 officials were held disciplinary liable.
