The Department of Internal State Audit for the Aktobe Region has been permanently implementing an online budget monitoring system since 2025 to ensure targeted and efficient use of public funds. This digital system has enabled real-time control of budget expenditures, timely identification of risks, and strengthening of financial discipline.
Online budget monitoring is a modern digital platform that automatically analyzes the movement of budget funds. The system collects and analyzes data on the utilization of funds by central government bodies and local executive bodies. Upon detection of risk indicators, notifications are promptly sent to the authorized bodies. This, in turn, helps prevent financial violations and ensures efficient management of budget funds.
To date, the online budget monitoring system has proven its effectiveness as an important tool aimed at increasing the transparency of public finances, strengthening financial discipline, and ensuring the efficient use of budget funds.
Based on the results of the first quarter of 2026, the Department of Internal State Audit for the Aktobe Region, within the framework of the "Online Budget Monitoring" system, reviewed 603 risks and issued 47 notifications for a total amount of 152,159.2 thousand tenge concerning facilities in the fields of education, healthcare, culture, and sports.
During the monitoring in these areas, financial violations totaling 10,599.0 thousand tenge were identified. Currently, timely response measures have been taken regarding the identified risks, and 5,540.8 thousand tenge have been recovered to the budget. The deadlines for compliance with the orders regarding the unrecovered amounts have not yet expired.
Regarding the identified violations, disciplinary actions in the form of "strict reprimand," "reprimand," and "remark" have been applied to the responsible officials.
To prevent similar violations and improve the efficiency of budget fund utilization, relevant letters with recommendations on organizing explanatory and preventive work among subordinate institutions have been sent to budget program administrators. It has also been proposed to ensure the publication of information about the identified violations on official internet resources.
Furthermore, the Department regularly publishes materials regarding the identified violations in the media and on the official website of the Committee.
