The Department of Internal State Audit for the Kyzylorda Region continues ongoing online monitoring aimed at ensuring the efficient, transparent, and targeted use of budgetary funds. This work is carried out to strengthen financial discipline, promptly identify risks, and prevent unjustified expenditure of budgetary funds.
In February 2026, the Department issued 25 notifications regarding 98 risky payments totaling over 41.2 million tenge. This includes identified instances of unjustified and erroneous transfers of budgetary funds in educational institutions of Kyzylorda city, and the Aral, Zhanakorgan, Karmakshy, and Zhalagash districts. The majority of risky operations are in the education sector — 34.0 million tenge. Risky payments were also identified in the sports sector — 2.9 million tenge, and in the culture sector — 4.3 million tenge.
As a result, in January, the total volume of identified unjustified payments amounted to 7.2 million tenge. This amount has been returned to the state budget and to the accounts of educational organizations.
The results of the work confirm the high effectiveness of the Department's systematic activities aimed at ensuring compliance with budgetary discipline, timely identification of risky operations, and prevention of violations of financial legislation. This contributes to the justified and targeted use of state funds.
