The Department of Internal State Audit for the Aktobe Region has been permanently using an online budget monitoring system since 2025 to ensure the targeted and efficient use of state funds. This digital system has enabled real-time monitoring of budget expenditures, early identification of risks, and strengthening of financial discipline.
Online budget monitoring is a modern digital platform that automatically analyzes the movement of budget funds. The system collects and analyzes data on the utilization of funds by central government bodies and local executive bodies, and when signs of risk are detected, notifications are promptly sent to the authorized bodies. This, in turn, helps prevent financial violations and improves the efficiency of budget fund management.
Since the beginning of 2026, the "Online Budget Monitoring" system has reviewed 470 risks in the fields of education, healthcare, culture, and sports, resulting in 33 notifications being issued for a total amount of 125,835.4 thousand tenge.
As a result of an inspection at the communal state institution "Secondary School No. 26" of the state institution "Department of Education of Aktobe City" in January 2026, an overpayment of wages totaling 670.7 thousand tenge was identified.
Appropriate measures were taken, and the specified amount of 670.7 thousand tenge was fully transferred back to the institution's account. A letter was sent to the budget program administrator regarding the consideration of disciplinary action against the responsible officials, as a result of which a "reprimand" was issued to the institution's payroll accountant.
In conclusion, it should be noted that the online budget monitoring system has proven its effectiveness as an important tool aimed at increasing transparency in public finances, strengthening financial discipline, and ensuring the efficient use of budget funds.
