In 2025, the Department of Internal State Audit for the Ulytau Region actively worked to hold officials administratively liable for violations of legislation on public procurement, accounting, and financial reporting.
During the reporting period, 251 administrative proceedings were initiated, and fines totaling 23.2 million tenge were imposed. All funds were fully recovered to the state budget.
The majority of violations are related to the public procurement sphere — these include customers' untimely appeals to the court to recognize suppliers as unscrupulous participants, as well as concluding contracts without complying with legal requirements.
Furthermore, the Department applies a simplified procedure mechanism, allowing for the payment of 50% of the fine within seven days. This practice contributes to the prompt execution of decisions and strengthens financial discipline in the region.
