The Department of Internal State Audit for the Aktobe Region has been permanently using an online budget monitoring system since 2025 to ensure the targeted and efficient use of state funds. This digital system has enabled real-time monitoring of budget expenditures, early identification of risks, and strengthening of financial discipline.
Online budget monitoring is a modern digital platform that automatically analyzes the movement of budget funds. The system collects and analyzes data on the utilization of funds by central government bodies and local executive bodies, and when signs of risk are detected, notifications are promptly sent to authorized bodies. This, in turn, helps prevent financial violations and improves the efficiency of budget fund management.
In January 2026, the "Online Budget Monitoring" system reviewed 393 risks in the fields of education, healthcare, culture, and sports, resulting in 22 notifications being issued for a total amount of 107,971.7 thousand tenge.
As a result of an inspection at the state institution "Education Department of the Baiganin District, Education Administration of the Aktobe Region" in March 2024, an overpayment of temporary disability benefits totaling 68.0 thousand tenge was identified.
Appropriate measures were taken, and the specified amount of 68.0 thousand tenge was fully transferred back to the budget. The budget program administrator was sent a letter regarding the consideration of responsibility for the officials who committed the aforementioned violations, as well as about posting the monitoring results on their internet resources.
In conclusion, it should be noted that the online budget monitoring system has today proven its effectiveness as an important tool aimed at increasing transparency in public finances, strengthening financial discipline, and ensuring the efficient use of budget funds.
