The Department of Internal State Audit of East Kazakhstan Region, as part of cases requiring immediate response based on internal audit results, conducted an audit of the activities of the Municipal State Enterprise "Zaysan Forest Management" of the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Regulation of East Kazakhstan Region. The audit revealed violations of the budget and labor legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as facts of unjustified salary accruals and payments, which led to financial discrepancies totaling 5.7 million tenge. This included an overpayment of 989,000 tenge and unjustified payments to the chief accountant for June-December 2024 amounting to 4.8 million tenge.
As a result of the audit, the amount of violations has been fully reimbursed to the budget, and the responsible official has been subjected to disciplinary action.
