The Department of Desk Control of the Internal State Audit for the Ulytau Region has summarized the results of its work with appeals from citizens and organizations for the first nine months of 2025. The figures speak for themselves: during this period, 375 appeals were received, including 220 applications (59%), 138 complaints (38%), and 17 other types of appeals — such as requests and feedback (3%).
It is noteworthy that 35 appeals were forwarded to other state bodies for further consideration within their competence. This practice reflects effective interdepartmental cooperation and a commitment to ensuring that no appeal is left without attention.
An analysis of the received appeals identified the main areas of concern raised by applicants. The majority of issues relate to public procurement — a sphere where transparency and compliance with the law are of particular importance. Among the most frequently raised topics are unjustified qualification requirements, lack of clear specifications for purchased goods, works, and services, as well as the absence of standards for the procured items. Citizens and business representatives also often express concerns about tender results and procedures.
These facts confirm that society is increasingly involved in monitoring government processes and the institution of appeals is becoming an effective feedback tool between government and citizens
The Department emphasizes that the work on reviewing appeals is not limited to formal responses Each appeal is a signal that requires attention analysisand if necessary adjustments to oversight approaches
“Our goal is not merely to respond to complaints, but to strengthen public trust in the state audit system and ensure transparency in all processes,” — noted specialists of the Department of Desk control.
In the future, the department intends to continue working to improve the efficiency and openness of interaction with the public and business putting into practice the principles of a "listening state" After all, it is through such mechanisms that a genuine partnership between society and the state is formed based on trust responsibility and mutual respect
