In the first nine months of 2025, the department conducted 21 audit activities, during which the use of budget funds in the amount of 7 billion 882 million tenge was checked.
The work of the auditors showed that violations of budget and other legislation as a result of inspections amounted to KZT 3 billion 190 million. Of these, 2 billion 235 million tenge accounted for financial violations, and 955.2 million tenge for procedural deviations, including 99.3 million tenge for non—compliance with legislation on public procurement. Moreover, 97.1 million tenge directly affected the results of the tenders.
Nevertheless, the measures taken have partially restored justice: 1 billion 815 million tenge has already been restored and returned.
According to the audit results, 19 orders were issued, 17 officials were brought to disciplinary responsibility, and 22 administrative protocols were drawn up. The total amount of fines imposed amounted to 3 million tenge, and all of them were collected in full.
The materials sent to law enforcement agencies deserve special attention. Two cases with the amount of violations of 15.8 million tenge became the reason for the initiation of criminal proceedings, which are currently in progress.
These results emphasize once again that the state audit is not a formality, but an effective tool for protecting the interests of citizens and the budget. After all, every tenge returned to the treasury is a step towards greater transparency, responsibility and fairness in the management of public funds.
