The Department of Internal State Audit for the North Kazakhstan Region continuously monitors salary payments in the fields of education, healthcare, culture, tourism, and sports.
As of September 10, 2025, the Department issued 350 response letters regarding 4,904 cases totaling 1,411.2 million tenge, where risks were confirmed in the amount of 18.6 million tenge, of which 17.2 million tenge has already been recovered.
In the cultural sector, including district-level culture departments, the Department reviewed 1,687 risk-related payments totaling 404.9 million tenge, resulting in 78 notifications being sent.
Confirmed risks amounted to 438,300 tenge, which has been fully reimbursed to the state budget.
The use of the Online Budget Monitoring System helps minimize potential violations, particularly with regard to unjustified disbursements of budget funds under the guise of salary payments.
