Corruption is not just an offense. This is a dangerous social disease that undermines the stability of the state, destroying public confidence and depriving citizens of confidence in the future. Today, it is more important than ever to not just condemn it, but to confront it every day - decisively, consistently and honestly.
The Internal State Audit Committee considers the fight against corruption not as a routine duty, but as a mission of honor. One of the key tools in this direction is the plan approved until 2025 to comply with the legislation on the civil service, anti-corruption policy and the Code of Ethics for civil servants.
As part of the plan, explanatory events are regularly held in the territorial departments of the Committee in online and offline formats.
From April 28 to April 30, 2025, the Deputy Chairman of the Committee, Ethics Commissioner Renad Kalidulovich Akhmetov held seminars and meetings in Shymkent, Turkestan and Kyzylorda regions. He did not just lecture - he spoke openly and on the case, emphasizing: observing the norms of ethics and laws is not a formality, but the basis of trust in the authorities.
Employees asked questions, discussed real cases, received answers and practical recommendations. The dialogue was lively and frank - this is how a team is born, for which honesty is not just a word, but an internal attitude.
Since the beginning of 2025, not a single employee of the Committee has been disciplined for violating ethical standards. This is an important indicator of an informal approach to prevention.
In the first quarter of 2025, 223 technical training courses were held. Before each audit, employees are instructed on compliance with the law so that there is no shadow of doubt about their impartiality.
The formation of intolerance to corruption is not a slogan, but reality. Here are two examples that speak for themselves:
- chief specialist of the Department for Kostanay region A.Kh. Bermanova refused a bribe of 2 million tenge and reported this to the anti-corruption service. She was offered money for refusing to file a lawsuit in the case of failure to comply with the order.
- Head of the Compliance Audit Department for Mangistau region Zhaksybekkyzy A. 500 thousand tenge was transferred in order to influence the result of the audit. She immediately appealed to law enforcement agencies.
This is not just a refusal to bribe. This is a manifestation of integrity, civic maturity and respect for their profession.
Fighting corruption is everyone's job. To be honest is to be strong. And intolerance of corruption is not a tacit disagreement, but an active desire to live in a just society and transfer this desire to the next generation.
