Barlyk Torekhanov was born in Almaty region in 1979,
has a higher education. In 2012 he graduated from the National School of Public Policy at the Academy of Public Administration,
in 2013 he graduated from Duke University (North Carolina, USA) with a degree in Public Policy and Management, is a member of the Bar Association.

 

Карьера

He started his career in 2000 as Deputy Director of Aknur LLP.

Over the years, he worked in various positions in private organizations and in the PKK "Real Estate Center" in Astana.

From 2007 to 2012, he worked as the head of the Turksib District Department of Justice.

Then, from 2012 to 2018, he held the position of Deputy Head of the Department of Justice of the Almaty region. Also, for three years he worked as the director of the Project Management Department of JSC "Samruk-Kazyna Trust".

From 2021 to 2022 he worked as deputy akim of Talgar district of Almaty region.

Since June 2022, he has held the position of deputy head of the Jambyl region DCREM.
