As part of the environmental program "Taza Kazakhstan" an "Eco Day" was held in Karabalyk

Since April, the “Taza Kazakhstan” program, initiated by the Head of State, has been launched throughout the country. The program has become large-scale, covering all work collectives, residents and children.

The Karabalyk district did not stand aside; from the very beginning of the program, active sanitary cleaning and improvement of the territory has been carried out here. Residents of the Karabalyk district support the nationwide Taza Kazakhstan program by holding not only standard cleanup days, but also various creative events.

Thus, on July 16, the KSU “Youth Resource Center” of the internal policy department of the akimat of the Karabalyk region, together with the initiative group “Volunteers of Karabalyk”, held an “Eco Day” for the campers of the “Dostyk” camp. Three sites were organized, and the guys from four squads took an active part. The intellectual game “Brainring” on the theme “Korikti Olke” was held on the first platform. The second platform is project management - creating the best project to improve the environmental situation in the Karabalyk region. When defending their projects, the teams presented compelling arguments on how to improve the environmental situation in the area. The third platform is a competition for the best costume made from waste material. In this competition, the children showed all their talents and abilities.

Participants took part in cleaning the camp and surrounding areas, and also planted trees and shrubs. In addition, educational lectures and interactive sessions on the topic of nature conservation and sustainable development were held for children and adolescents.

Representatives of the Youth Resource Center noted that such events are an important element in nurturing environmental culture among the younger generation. “Our task is not only to tell children about the importance of caring for nature, but also to show in practice how they can contribute to the preservation of the environment,” emphasized Erlan Armanovich Baranbaev.

Karabalyk volunteers actively participated in the preparation and holding of the event. “We are glad that we can contribute to the development of environmental awareness among the younger generation. Our efforts are aimed at ensuring that children not only gain new knowledge, but also learn to apply it in everyday life,” volunteer Baimukhanova Dilnaz Zhandosovna shared her emotions.

All day the teams completed tasks and earned points. At the end of the day, the results were summed up; the team that showed the best results received valuable prizes. The end of the “Eco Day” was the screening of a film on the topic of environmental education.

The vacationers were able not only to demonstrate their intellectual abilities, but also to take care of nature by conducting a “labor landing” in the camp.
