AS PART OF THE "TAZA KAZAKHSTAN" CAMPAIGN, LARGE-SCALE EVENTS WERE HELD IN THE DISTRICTS AND REGIONAL CENTERS OF KOSTANAY REGION

Kostanay residents continue to widely support the "Taza Kazakhstan" campaign initiated by the country's President K.J. Tokayev in early April.  Today, residents in all corners of the Kostanay region came out to clean-up in a single labor impulse. Environmental events gathered hundreds of participants, including representatives of local authorities, public organizations, students, activists and just concerned citizens.

People were united by a common goal - to make our common home cleaner and more beautiful, and, of course, to draw attention to environmental issues and the need to take care of the environment. In total, more than 20 different actions, flash mobs and challenges took place.

In Kostanay, for example, within the framework of the republican campaign "Taza Kazakhstan, a youth environmental campaign "Clean Games" was held on a large scale. The organizers were the "Youth Resource Center of Kostanay region (MRC)" together with the public foundation "Neco Environmental Foundation".

"Our main task today, as, indeed, we have always set only one thing - to involve young people in environmental initiatives and support the large-scale action itself," said Abai Duisekov, head of the regional MRC. - The participating guys really liked it. I think "Clean Games" will have a logical continuation. I am sure that such events contribute not only to improving the environmental situation in my hometown, village, but also are able to form a responsible attitude towards the environment among residents."

The action "Clean Games" was attended by fighters of the youth labor groups "Zhasyl El", employees and volunteers of the IDC, volunteers of the representative office of the NGO "Assembly of Zhastary" in the Kostanay region and many others.

The baton on the formation of a common ecological culture among the population was also supported by the residents of Arkalyk and Sarykol district. In the central park "Demalys", employees and volunteers of the Arkalyk MRC organized a flash mob "Taza Arkalyk".

Sarykol residents also actively joined the campaign with the telling name "Less garbage - less problems". The participants cleared debris from places where they like to spend time with family and friends - parks, squares, and coastal areas. More than 50 people took part in the action, including local residents, representatives of public organizations and volunteers.

Athletes and employees of physical education and sports institutions of the Denisovsky district took part in an action to improve sports facilities, thereby launching a challenge.

"His goal is to draw the attention of citizens to order, so that everything in our district and in our country as a whole is clean everywhere," says Natalia Filatova, head of the sports department, enthusiastically.  - We are all citizens of Kazakhstan, and athletes of the Denisovsky district could not stay away from the republican action "Taza Kazakhstan". By the way, in the sections, from a young age, a lot of attention is paid, including environmental education of children, coaches instill in them a sense of respect for the Motherland."

In turn, the campaign "The cleanest Playground" was held in the Fedorovsky district within the framework of "Taza Kazakhstan", as a result of which youth organizations and volunteers improved children's and sports grounds in villages.

"In just one day, working together, we managed to repair and paint the simulators, install new benches and trash cans," said Akhmetchin Musatafa, Director of the Fedorovsky District Youth Resource Center KSU.  Contests and quizzes on environmental topics were organized for children, as well as conversations about the importance of maintaining cleanliness and order in playgrounds."

The flash mob "Zhastar Taza Kazakhstan usin", dedicated to the issues of ecology and environmental protection, was held in the Karabalyk district. Environmental quests and contests were organized in which participants were able to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in the field of ecology and environmental protection. The youth were told about the importance of maintaining cleanliness and proper waste management. The lectures included practical tips on sorting garbage and reducing the use of disposable plastic products.

And in Uzunkol district, on the Day of "Zhasyl Aimak", the green belt of the central park was replenished with 250 seedlings of valuable tree species. Sabit Agaidarov, Director of Yershovskoye-2 LLP, provided financial support for this environmental campaign.

"Caring, the desire to improve the lives of fellow countrymen, to create comfortable working and living conditions is a distinctive feature of local agricultural producers and entrepreneurs," comments Akim of the Ershovsky rural district Maria Goyan. - The bulk of the work and activities were carried out by the forces of Yershovskoye-2 LLP. As a result, paving stones, various recreation areas, treadmills, and beautiful manicured lawns appeared in the park. In addition, lighting and video surveillance cameras, a basketball court were installed in it, and a playground was equipped with budgetary funds."

According to the head of the rural district, this year they plan to install another children's playground and a skating court in Yershovka.

The "Sports ecohod" was organized in Rudny. A team building under the same name was held with the participation of youth labor groups. Youth labor groups went on a hike through the picturesque places of Rudny, where they not only enjoyed nature, but also engaged in garbage collection in forest and coastal areas. Relay races, football, volleyball competitions, and orienteering were organized as part of the event.The participants also took master classes on the basics of environmental behavior, learned how to properly sort waste and learned about ways to minimize their impact on nature.

"This event brought us all together great, we felt the shoulder, the team spirit," shared his impressions of the participant and organizer of the team building in one person - the director of the Rudnensky MRC Shokhova Akpylek.

At the end of the day, a musical environmental event was organized in the city center of Kostanay, aimed at drawing attention to environmental issues through art and culture. Interactive zones were prepared for the guests of the event, where they could learn more about environmental issues, take part in environmental games and contests. Various environmental projects and initiatives implemented in the region were presented. Visitors could learn about achievements and plans to improve the environmental situation.The musical performances drew attention to the importance of preserving the environment and inspired the participants to take active action.

It should be noted that this year more than 11 billion tenge has been allocated for landscaping and improvement of settlements.

It is planned to plant more than 130 thousand seedlings, of which more than 51.4 thousand seedlings have been planted. According to the results of all the work carried out, the provision of street lighting will be 90%, the installation of fences in 108 villages, with a total length of 129 km.

For the current period (from April 10 to June 13 this year), state institutions and private organizations, peasant farms, youth, volunteer and non-governmental organizations, deputies of maslikhats, representatives of the KSK, the AXIS were involved. A total of 249.6thousand people took part, 106 unauthorized landfills were eliminated, 320 squares were landscaped, 127.0 thousand tons of garbage were removed, more than 51.4 thousand trees were planted.
