Through joint efforts: a new future for remote areas!

The Akimat of Kostanay region and the Public Fund "Kazakhstan Khalkyna" signed a memorandum on the construction of residential buildings in the Dzhangelda and Amangelda districts of Kostanay region, the most affected by the flood.
It is worth noting that these areas are 700 kilometers away from the regional center. Despite the considerable distance, the Kazakhstan Khalkyna Foundation decided to build houses in these two districts. For the foundation, this is the first such project implemented at such a distance from the regional center.
Local construction companies are ready to assist in the construction of houses, as well as owners of large equipment necessary for the transportation of building materials.
Up to 100 houses for residents affected by the disaster will be built at the expense of the fund. The houses will be built according to a standard project developed by local executive bodies.
"Today, one of the most important issues after the flood is the restoration of housing," said Akim of Kostanay region Kumar Aksakalov. – "I express my gratitude to the Kazakhstan Khalkyna Foundation for allocating funds for the construction of new houses."
In accordance with the instruction of the Head of State, large businessmen and public funds of the country have been involved in eliminating the consequences of the flood. They will help in the construction of new housing or provide victims with the opportunity to choose secondary housing.
"The memorandum concluded between the Akimat of the region and the foundation defines joint approaches, responsibilities of the parties and the distribution of functions to achieve a charitable goal in a short time," explained Lyazzat Chinkisbayeva, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Kazakhstan Khalkyna Public Foundation. "At the same time, transparency of all necessary procedures and documentary support of the entire volume of construction work will be observed."
In the areas of flooding, local executive bodies are already working to assess the damage and prepare the necessary conclusions on construction. This includes the allocation of land for new homes in areas that are not at risk of flooding in the future, as well as the preparation of engineering and communication infrastructure.
"The Head of State has set the construction dates, and the houses will be built before the autumn of this year," the governor of the region concluded.
