Payments to flood victims continue in Kostanay region

In the cities of Arkalyk and Kostanay, as well as in the districts of Amangelda, Dzhangelda, Kostanay and Karasu, a state of emergency has been declared due to the consequences of natural phenomena. Commissions have been set up in these regions, which have already begun their work to compensate the victims.

At the moment, 1174 applications have been received from victims (Amangeldinsky – 105, Dzhangeldinsky – 104, Kostanay – 191, Arkalyk – 234 applications, Kostanay – 540 applications).
Decisions on compensation will be made as the assessment and technical examination of real and movable property, as well as livestock of the victims, are carried out.

Victims who have suffered damage must submit an application for compensation to the local executive body within thirty calendar days from the date of the emergency. A copy of the identity document and a list of lost or damaged property must be attached to the application.

Applications for damages are considered within fifteen working days from the date of receipt by the local executive body. After registration of the application, an assessment of the amount of damage is organized, and after that a decision is made on the allocation of funds and their payment to the victims.
