On the territory of the region, there are 90 settlements in areas of possible flooding by flood and meltwater. These are 2,049 houses in which more than 8 thousand people live.
The villages of Karamyrza and Oktyabrskoye of the Karasu district are at special risk. Akim of the region K.Aksakalov got acquainted with flood control works.
In order to eliminate the flood, various operational works are carried out. The situation is under my personal control. In turn, the state will provide financial assistance to the victims.
"We have agreed with the heads of agricultural enterprises of the affected villages to build new houses for residents who have had trouble in a safe place, thereby avoiding further flooding. In turn, the state will take part in subsidizing the costs of the agricultural accident by 50%," the governor of the region said at a meeting with the victims.
For 6 years, the village was flooded 4 times. This year, the water has risen by 2.5 meters, so it is impossible to make engineering structures. The only right solution is to relocate the residents to a safe place.
