Master plan for the Astana microdistrict with green areas and residential areas

On the eve of Republic Day, the Kostanay region celebrated the opening of the first 450 apartments in the new "Astana" microdistrict, which will become one of the key centers of modern housing construction and urban infrastructure development in the region. The new buildings are designed to accommodate approximately 1,000 people and were constructed with modern standards of quality, energy efficiency, and a comfortable urban environment in mind.

The President noted: "Affordable housing is not a dream, but a reality that we are obliged to create for our citizens." This principle has become the foundation of state housing policy. Over the past two years, approximately 1 million square meters of housing have been commissioned in the Kostanay region.

Kostanay Region Akim Kumar Aksakalov emphasized:
"Since the beginning of 2025, 391,000 square meters of housing, amounting to 4,145 apartments, have been built. By the end of the year, 500,000 square meters, or 6,500 apartments, are planned to be commissioned. These figures reflect the systematic development of housing construction in the region."

The Astana project plans to construct 154 multi-story buildings ranging from 5 to 24 stories. The total housing volume will be approximately 1 million square meters, providing housing for approximately 60,000 residents. Construction of 10 buildings has been completed to date, and 13 more are underway.

The regional governor noted that the primary goal is not only to commission housing but also to create a comfortable, safe, and modern urban environment. New apartments will be provided to those on the waiting list under the affordable housing program at a price of 254,000 tenge per square meter.

The microdistrict offers everything necessary for comfortable living: kindergartens, schools, medical facilities, sports and cultural facilities, shopping and entertainment centers, and recreation parks. Smart bus stops, a video surveillance system, bike paths, wide streets, and landscaped recreation areas with individual designs are also being installed.

Domestic materials are used in construction, ensuring the high quality and durability of the buildings. The Astana project will advance digitalization and improve the quality of life for residents of the region, providing modern and affordable conditions for comfortable living.
