A large-scale family scientific and innovative festival "QOSTANAI TECH" will be held in Kostanay

On April 29, from 9:00 a.m., the largest event of the year will begin in Kostanay. The family scientific and innovative festival "QOSTANAI TECH" will bring together 10,000 Kostanay residents and guests from all regions of the country. The festival will become a landmark event in the Year of Digitalization and Artificial Intelligence, announced by Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
The start of the festival program will be given by Akim of Kostanay region Kumar Aksakalov.
Among the headliners of the festival, who will address the guests in a TED format, are representatives of large industries, IT companies, and public opinion leaders. Among them are KIA QAZAQSTAN CEO De Ki Kim, Freedom Cloud CEO and consultant to the working group of the AI Development Council under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Temirlan Zinalabdin, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Qarmet JSC and Allur Group of Companies Andrey Lavrentiev, an entrepreneur in the field of technology and education, the first Kazakhstani to complete his studies in Oxford Gabit Bekakhmetov and many others.
In the lobby of Zhastar Sarayy, guests will be greeted by the mascot of the festival, the transformer Q-AI and an exhibition of modern technologies.
The interactive zone on the second floor will reflect innovative processes: smart manufacturing 5.0, autonomous systems and a swarm of technologies, the digital infrastructure of the city and urban planning, XR-training and immersive professions, issues of the ecology of the future, logistics, security in the digital world and much more.
The festival will become not only a celebration of technology, but also a platform for experimentation. A space for future technologies will be organized for children and teenagers on the second floor. They will find an esports arena with mini-tournaments, a technopolygon and a design laboratory, and robotics. The younger generation of VR/AI will be particularly interested in the area where the simulation laboratory will allow them to find themselves inside real production processes, from managing agricultural machinery to working on electric vehicle assembly lines.
On the outdoor playground, children and their parents will enjoy master classes, experiments and science shows on chemistry, physics, the possibilities of liquid nitrogen and the Tesla show.
An exhibition of equipment from the region's leading manufacturers will also be held on the territory.
For those who want to see with their own eyes the car manufacturing process and the work of the industrial giants of the region, industrial excursions will be organized throughout the day, which will become regular for residents and visitors of the city.
The most important task of the festival will be to inspire a new generation to study programming and AI systems, which become the foundation for the development of machine-building and agro-industrial complexes, while strengthening family values, generational continuity and respect for work and knowledge.
