Uzunkolsky district

Uzunkol district is located in the northern part of Kostanay region. In the north, it borders with the Kurgan region of Russia, in the east with the North Kazakhstan region, in the west with Mendykarinsky, in the south with Sarykolsky district of Kostanay region. The length of the district from north to south is 120 km, from west to east – 95 km. It was formed on October 17, 1939.
