In the special zone of the Kostanay region, two cars designed to pass the practical exam for categories C and C1 failed. The reason is in special sensors for "reading" the progress of tasks.
All cars designed to pass the practical exam at the Kostanay Special Zone circuit are equipped with special sensors. The equipment is installed both inside and outside the cars, all over the circuit, as well as in a special point for receiving results.
"In order to pass the practical driving test, it is necessary to complete a number of tasks. The quality of their performance is evaluated automatically by a special system. The results are "read" by sensors inside and outside the car and sensors installed around the perimeter of the circuit. The result of the practical exam (failure or successful completion) is given by the system. That is, the human factor is excluded. At the moment there is a problem. To pass for category C, the control unit of distance sensors failed, for passing the exam for C1 — the speed sensor. In the state corporation, such equipment is purchased centrally, not through branches, repair and installation is carried out by a special contractor organization. There are a number of objective reasons why we can't get the equipment right now. Because of this, the practical exams for both categories have been suspended, which causes discontent on the part of residents of Kostanay region. That is why, according to the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan, we decided to conduct the examination admission procedure in the city mode, that is, on the streets of Kostanay," the acting the head of the special center of Kostanay region Olga Terekhova.
Today, the issue of the composition of the commission that will take practical exams for the above categories will be resolved. The commission will include representatives of the Special Center, driving schools and the Police Department. More details about when the exams will begin in the city dormitory will be announced later.
Recall that in 2019, the Ministry of Internal Affairs transferred the function of accepting theoretical and practical exams to the state corporation "Government for Citizens". In Kostanay region, the practical exam is now accepted only at the Special Zone circuit
in Kostanay.
