President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev stressed
that in addition to catching corrupt officials, the purpose of the government
's work should be to eliminate bureaucratic loopholes and schemes, as well
as management shortcomings.
To this end, the Anti-Corruption Agency has put forward a number
of legislative initiatives, one of which is the institution
of resignation and personal responsibility of top managers for
corruption among subordinates. Now each manager
is personally responsible for the ongoing anti-corruption
activities in the state body and organization under his control.
"In 2021, 11 managers in the region were immediately brought to
disciplinary responsibility for violations of subordinates.
Employees of agricultural institutions, akimats of all
levels and subordinate organizations of the Ministry of Finance received the largest number of disciplinary penalties,"
comments Daniyar Smagulov, First Deputy Head of the Anti-Corruption
Service for Kostanay region.
The Speaker noted that four officials were reprimanded, one was
reprimanded and severely reprimanded, three civil servants were dismissed from their posts and
dismissed from their posts.
Disciplinary punishment in the form of a reprimand involved
head of the regional Health Department, head
Department of Education of akimat and akim of Fedorovsky district. There was
also a law enforcement unit, here the acting
head of the criminal correctional institution of the Criminal Code 161/4 received a penalty. At the
same time, the acting director of one of the secondary schools of the city of Kostanay was brought to disciplinary responsibility in the form of a strict reprimand.
