The relevant Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 2, 2020, aimed at supporting citizens during the pandemic, was signed by the Head of state.
The document stipulates the rate of tax Amnesty to write off fines for natural persons, reported the press service of state revenue Committee of MF RK.
In particular, citizens will be charged penalties for taxes on property, land and vehicles of individuals that were registered on the taxpayer's personal account as of April 1, 2020 and accrued later before the date of its payment.
The main condition for writing off is the payment of the principal tax debt. The penalty fee is deducted for the type of tax for which the arrears are paid.
The exception is property tax and land tax obligations for 2019, which must be paid by October 1, 2020.
The tax Amnesty period is until December 31, 2020.
In this regard, commissions will be created in all territorial divisions of state revenue bodies to write off penalties.
You don't need to apply anywhere to write off the penalty fee. It is enough to pay the principal amount of the debt. The penalty fee will be deducted automatically.
