The state revenue Department for Uzunkol district informs that within the framework of the Decree of the government of the Republic of Kazakhstan No. 224 of 20.04.2020, it is provided for the exemption of persons engaged in private practice, SMEs from paying contributions and deductions to the OSMS, operating under the list of activities defined by the annexes of this resolution from April 1 to October 1, 2020. In addition, starting from July 1, 2020, the right to receive medical care in the system of compulsory medical insurance is implemented for insured citizens, i.e. for which deductions and (or) contributions to the Federal migration SERVICE were received.
Thus, employers are exempt from the obligation to pay contributions and deductions to the OSMS for their employees during the specified period, while maintaining the status of employee insurance.
In order to implement PP RK No. 224, the health insurance Fund implemented functionality for SMEs in the Fund's Information system. Small and medium-sized businesses need to upload their employees ' Names to the Fund's Information system in order to assign them the insurance status. From there, the status is transmitted to medical information systems, which will allow these employees to receive medical care from the OSMS package. Information can only be entered by SMEs from the list in the app.
Thus, individuals engaged in private practice, micro, small medium or large businesses will need to upload the IIN of their employees or make adjustments no later than the 25th day of the month following the reporting month.
