Despite the quarantine restrictions associated with the coronavirus pandemic, car owners in Kazakhstan continue to actively receive government services. So, according to the official statistics of the state corporation "Government for Citizens" for 7 months of this year, the special centers of Kazakhstan issued and replaced more than 400 thousand driver's licenses, and also rendered almost 1.3 million state services for registration of transport.
According to the Chairman of the Board of the Government for Citizens State Corporation Asemgul Baltasheva, I am glad that motorists register services not only in specialized public service centers, but also online on the egov.kz portal. “For 7 months of this year, more than 145 thousand Kazakhstanis have replaced their driver's license through the e-government portal, and almost 90 thousand have re-registered their cars online,” she said.
Baltasheva also noted that the pandemic, the state of emergency, which lasted almost two months, and the reduction in the work schedule of public service centers did not greatly affect the number of services issued. For example, the number of services for re-registering a car this year is only 150 thousand less than last year, and the number of issued and replaced driver's licenses does exceed the same indicator last year by more than 70 thousand.
Recall that at present, by decision of the chief sanitary doctors of the regions, PSCs are extending the work schedule. So, this week the PSCs of eight regions have extended their work schedule. Among them are Aktobe, Akmola, Almaty, Atyrau, Mangistau, North Kazakhstan, Turkestan and Pavlodar regions.
