Project office «Protecting Business and Investments»

At the initiative of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for civil service Affairs and anti – corruption, as well as the ministries of foreign Affairs, industry and infrastructure development, the project office "Protecting Business and Investments" (hereinafter-the Project office) was launched in Kazakhstan in 2018.

The office was created for the purpose of resolving and preventing problematic issues arising in the course of investment activities, as well as protecting the rights and legitimate interests of investors. The main task of the office is to prevent and prevent corruption in the business environment, improve the corporate anti-corruption culture, assist investors and entrepreneurs in their interaction with government agencies, etc.

Since the opening of the Project office in Kostanay region, 41 anti-corruption agreements have been signed on projects implemented in Kostanay region. To date, the investment portfolio of supported companies is more than 179 billion tenge.
