Uzunkol district Election Commission held a seminar meeting with representatives of public associations. The purpose of this event was to discuss the rules of accreditation of public associations and non-profit organizations whose statutory activities include the implementation of election observation activities. According to the rules, the statutory activity of accreditation of public associations includes the implementation of activities for elections. These rules establish the procedure for the organization and implementation of the accreditation of public associations, non-profit organizations to participate in election observation. It was explained to the participants of the event that the accreditation of republican public associations and non-profit organizations is carried out by the Central Election Commission, and regional and local public associations and non-profit organizations are carried out by territorial election commissions.
In addition, they explained the procedure for accreditation, which documents must be provided by public associations, non-profit organizations to obtain accreditation, as well as what stages the accreditation includes, the grounds for refusal of accreditation or cancellation of accreditation, in which cases the certificate of accreditation ceases to be valid. Explanations were presented to the participants in accordance with the Constitutional Law "On Elections of the Republic of Kazakhstan" and the rules of accreditation of NGOs and non-profit organizations.
