On March 19, 2020, at 11:00, the Department organized public hearings in the form of open meetings of the section on environmental impact assessment for the working projects "Exploitation of subsurface space for use for the construction of the Varvarinskoye tailing dump No. 2" and "plan for eliminating the consequences of using subsurface resources for the construction of the Varvarinskoye tailing dump No. 2".
In connection with the Declaration by the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev of a state of emergency for the period from 08: 00 on March 16, 2020 to 07: 00 on April 15, 2020, public hearings were held via videoconference.
