Urban planning projects - projects containing the idea of integrated urban planning of organization, development and development of territories and settlements or their parts (general scheme of organization of the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan, interregional territorial development schemes, integrated schemes of urban planning of territories, general plans of settlements, detailed planning projects, industrial zone planning projects, development projects, master plans facilities and complexes, landscaping and landscaping projects, other planning projects).

Department:

• coordinates activities for the implementation of a comprehensive scheme of urban planning of territories (draft district planning of the region or its part), approved in accordance with the established procedure, master plans of settlements in the territory of the region;
• submits to the regional maslikhat a draft master plan of a city of regional significance with an estimated population of over one hundred thousand inhabitants for subsequent submission to the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan for approval;
• organizes the development and submission to the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan for approval of master plans of cities of regional significance with an estimated population of over one hundred thousand inhabitants approved by the regional maslikhat;
• submits for approval to the regional maslikhat complex schemes of urban planning of the territory of subordinate administrative-territorial units (district planning projects), as well as draft master plans for the development of cities of regional significance with an estimated population of up to one hundred thousand inhabitants, approved by the city maslikhats;
• coordinates draft master plans of cities of regional significance;
• prepares acts of the akimat of the region for the approval of urban development projects (detailed planning projects, development projects) developed for the development of approved master plans (integrated urban planning scheme, planning projects) of settlements;
• organizes a comprehensive urban planning examination of projects of master plans of cities of regional significance with an estimated population of up to one hundred thousand inhabitants.
