Center for Research, Restoration and Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage

The municipal state institution "Center for Research, Restoration and Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage" of the Department of Culture of the Akimat of Kostanay region was established by the decree of the Akimat of Kostanay region dated March 26, 2021 No. 135 "On the establishment of the municipal state institution "Center for Research, Restoration and Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage" of the Department of Culture of the Akimat of Kostanay region".

The structure of the institution includes an administrative department, a department for the protection of historical and cultural heritage. In total, there are 10 people in the staff. Head: Ualiev Bekbolat Balabekovich; Head of the Department for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage: Shcherbin Victoria Sergeevna.

The subject of the institution's activity is the regulation of public relations aimed at the continuous development of historical and cultural heritage. The objectives of the institution's activities are to carry out activities for the implementation of state policy in the field of research, restoration and protection of historical and cultural heritage, sacred objects.

To achieve this goal , it carries out the following activities:

Work is being carried out: to identify, record, preserve, study, use and monitor the condition of historical and cultural heritage and sacred objects;
to identify new information; to identify protected zones, zones of regulation of development and protected natural landscape together with interested authorities;
Make proposals: on the recognition of objects of historical and cultural heritage as historical and cultural monuments; on the conduct of historical and cultural expertise; on the conduct of archaeological and scientific restoration work on historical and cultural monuments;
Carry out work on the scientific study of immovable historical and cultural monuments in case of their destruction, demolition, relocation and modification; participate in the preparation of acts of technical inspection of historical and cultural monuments; Prepare materials for the meeting of the Commission for the protection of historical and cultural monuments of Kostanay region on competence;
They carry out activities to promote and popularize scientific research, materials on historical and cultural monuments, sacred objects of the region.
