"Dzhangeldinsky complex of museums of Torgay" is the only complex in the region. The history of the complex begins in 2002. The complex includes 4 museums.
The historical and memorial Museum of Togzhanuly Zhangeldin's Alibi was opened in 1984;
Ybyrai Altynsarin memorial and pedagogical Museum-opened in 1988;
Literary Museum of Akhmet Baitursynov and Mirzhakip Dulatov-opened in 1991;
The historical Museum named after Shakshak Zhanibek was opened in 1993.
The total area of the complex is -12410 sq. m., the area of the Fund-22 sq.m. Over the years of its existence, the Museum has been engaged in research, cultural and educational, methodological and propaganda work. The total amount of the complex's Fund is 4110 (2019 inclusive). Staff can arrange events outside the Museum. Museums are one of the places where government policy is widespread, so it promotes the priority of the President's annual message and other government documents. One of the main directions of the complex is local history. In 2017, the history of the native land began in the framework of the program article of the President "Bolashakka bagdar: Ruhani zhangyru", as well as excursions and expeditions to the Neutral places of our region . The focus is on the digitalization of the Museum's processes for the collection, research and storage resources. In the digital version: the "museologist" program and the registry project are working. Measures to promote museums and Museum exhibits are closely linked to government institutions and the arts. Guests of the Museum complex are: President N. A. Nazarbayev, Vice-President E. Asanbayev, S. V. Tereshchenko, U. M. Sultangazin, various public and public figures: Abish Kekilbayev, Kuanysh Sultanov, Kenzhegali Sagadiev, Galym baynazarov, Koishigara Salgarin, Fariza Ungarsynova, Sapar Iskakov and Tolen Abdyk. Much attention is paid to attracting young people to museums, various intellectual games, seminars and forums. The main events of the district are taken from the complex and decorated with photos. The complex has a collection of rare books, personal belongings, and personal autographs. The complex actively interacts with the media, publishes articles in Newspapers, interviews with regional and national TV channels, as well as video materials. Employees of the complex perform at the stands of regional, national and international conferences and participate in meetings. The complex organized the 2017-2018 Republican scientific and practical conference. All participants and guests of the conference noted that the event was held at a high level. The annual number of spectators is 43521, the event is attended by 6723 people.
