As of september 1, 2023, 608 cultural institutions operate in the state network, including: 341 libraries, 244 cultural and leisure organizations, 9 museums, 4 theaters, the regional Philharmonic, 6 cinemas, 2 parks of culture and recreation, a Center for Research, Restoration and Protection of Historical and Cultural Heritage.
For 12 months of 2022, the regional center for amateur folk art and the film and video fund and the regional Philharmonic held 253 events.
Theaters of the region have shown 907 performances.
274 libraries are equipped with computers, 149 of them are connected to the Internet. Since the beginning of the year, 297,790 readers have used the services of libraries in the region.
