The Department of Culture of the Akimat of Kostanay region is carrying out planned work on the implementation of the Concept for the development of language policy in the Republic of Kazakhstan for 2023-2029. One of the main directions of the language policy is the teaching of the state language to citizens. To date, there are 20 language learning centers for adults in Kostanay region – 1 regional, 3 city and 16 district centers. The centers are equipped with a modern material and technical base, and all conditions have been created for learning languages. In 2024, 6,759 people were enrolled in the state language (2021 – 6760, 2022 – 7130, 2023-6590), 1804 people in English (2021 – 1986, 2022 -1878,2023 - 1847), 107 people in native languages (2021 – 181, 2022 -138,2023 -88). In addition to district and city centers, public and English language training is organized in rural districts.
