As part of the information and explanatory work among the population, the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund is holding an "Open Day" in an online format on June 18. Everyone can use a special online platform to attend this event without leaving their home.
The theme of the event is " Voluntary pension contributions, open and top up-easy!". The main purpose of the event should be to promote voluntary pension contributions. At the moment, a number of changes in the legislation have been adopted, which should be an excellent incentive for the development of a culture of accumulation.
Thus, since the beginning of the year, the personal income tax paid by the tax agent (employer) at the expense of its own funds in favor of the employee is deducted when calculating corporate income tax. At the same time, the amounts paid by the employer for the employee's benefit are not taken into account when taxing the employee's income. The provisions of the Law regulating the procedure for the transfer by the Kazakhstan Deposit Guarantee Fund of the amounts of the guaranteed compensation unclaimed during the year to the UAPF for crediting to individual pension accounts for accounting for DPA have been put into effect. Also, one of the most important innovations was the automatic opening of DPV accounts, with the first voluntary contribution.
In addition, the purpose of this event is to provide comprehensive information on other issues related to the operation of the funded pension system.
