The Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the Ministry of Digital Development of Innovation and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan, launched a joint project to provide the state service "Apostille of official documents originating from the judicial authorities and other state bodies, as well as notaries of the Republic of Kazakhstan" through the E-Apostille information system.
The main purpose of the E-Apostille procedure is to ensure the authenticity and proper registration of apostille documents intended for use in the territory of the countries participating in the Hague Convention.
"E-Apostille" is an information system designed to register documents and issue an "apostille stamp" in electronic form, which provides centralized accounting and a single archive of apostilled documents.
The information system has many advantages over the traditional paper apostille. It ensures the prompt execution of the apostille stamp within just 1 (one) working day, and simplifies the verification of the authenticity of an official document, due to the fact that the E-Apostille system contains samples of signatures and seals of officials. Verification of the authenticity of an official document can be carried out in one click, since most of the work is done electronically without the need to physically attach apostilles, sign and seal.
An applicant who has an electronic digital signature (EDS) can receive an electronic apostille. Previously, in any case, a paper document was submitted to the authorized body for apostille affixing, this format eliminates the need to provide a paper document, and if there is a computer, it eliminates the need to even leave the house. If the service recipient does not have a computer, then you can contact the NAO GC "Government for Citizens".
The document submitted for apostille is provided by scanning the original document (scanning from photocopies is not allowed). The scanned document submitted for affixing an electronic apostille must exactly match the original, the presence of corrections and erasures of the text is not allowed.
The service provider checks the compliance of the signature of the official and the seal of the state body on the official document for compliance with the available samples, as well as the availability of authority to sign the official document from the official who signed the document.
If the application and the submitted documents of the service recipient meet the requirements of the Apostille Rules, the service provider forms an electronic apostille in the information system and sends the result of the provision of the state service to the "personal account" of the service recipient.
