In 2020, over KZT 193 bln were paid to the contributors of the UAPF

As of January 1, 2021, the Unified Accumulative Pension Fund made pension benefit payments to KZT 364,799 recipients. In total, more than 2.4 million pension benefit payments and transfers to insurance organizations were made for a total of KZT 193.4 bln, including:

• payments upon reaching the retirement age – KZT 67.7 bln;
• transfers to insurance organizations - KZT 46.3 bln;
• in connection with leaving for permanent residence - KZT 36.8 bln;
• payments by inheritance - KZT 36.5 bln;
• payments for burial - KZT 4.4 bln;
• payments for disability - KZT 1.7 bln.

At the same time, the amount of the average monthly pension benefit payment according to the schedule (due to reaching the retirement age) was KZT 22,978, and the maximum amount of the monthly pension benefit payment was KZT 506,980.
