The Department of State Revenue in Kostanay informs civil servants that according to the provisions of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated November 18, 2015 "On Combating Corruption" - receiving gifts is classified as anti-corruption restrictions.
In accordance with the current Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan "On Public Service of the Republic of Kazakhstan", public service is the activity of civil servants in state bodies for the execution of official powers aimed at the implementation of tasks and functions of state power.
Civil servants assume the restrictions associated with staying in public service. For example, it is prohibited to use the services of citizens and legal entities for personal purposes in connection with the performance of their official powers.
In order to prevent the commission of corruption offenses by employees of state revenue bodies and to prevent justified criticism from the public, the State Revenue Committee of the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Kazakhstan has taken systematic measures.
Based on this, oral explanations were conducted with each employee of the State Revenue Department in the city of Kostanay, as well as technical studies on this issue were conducted. As a result of the explanatory work carried out, each employee of the Department assumed written restrictions on responsibility for committing a corruption offense.
