Due to the forecast of a further increase in daytime air temperatures in the period from March 20 to March 25, 2024 in Kostanay and Kostanay region, intensive snowmelt and the formation of melt runoff, water level rises on the southern rivers of the region, while spills and flooding of highways, residential settlements and outbuildings with meltwater are expected.
