In total, the department provides 18 public services. All services are provided free of charge. Most public services are provided on an alternative basis through the Electronic Government portal, as well as through a State corporation.

Public services:

1. Reimbursement of homeschooling costs for children with disabilities
2. Appointment of Government-directed social assistance
3. Assignment of social assistance to certain categories of needy citizens by decisions of local representative bodies
4. Registration of citizens affected by nuclear tests at the Semipalatinsk Nuclear test site, payment of one-time state monetary compensation, issuance of certificates
5. Issuing a verified statement to the client
6. Registration of documents for providing persons with disabilities with prosthetic and orthopedic care
7. Registration of documents for providing persons with disabilities with technical and auxiliary (compensatory) means
8. Registration of documents for providing services of an individual assistant to persons with disabilities of the first group who have difficulty in movement
9. Registration of documents for providing persons with disabilities with the services of a sign language specialist for the hearing impaired – sixty hours per year
10. Registration of documents for providing persons with disabilities with special means of transportation
11. Registration of documents for providing persons with disabilities and children with disabilities with sanatorium-resort treatment
12. Registration of documents for the provision of special social services in home care
13. Registration of documents for the provision of special social services in medical and social institutions (organizations)

15. Issuing and extending permits for labor immigrants
16. Establishment of guardianship or guardianship over legally incompetent or disabled adults
17. Issuing permits for the disposal of property, withdrawal of pensions, allowances, and social benefits credited to the account of an incompetent or legally disabled adult
18. Issuance of a permit for the alienation of property of citizens recognized as legally incompetent or with limited legal capacity by a court decision

Implementation of the State social order:

1. The organization of the "Active Longevity Club".
2. Organization of a one-year vacation for 20 children with disabilities and persons over the age of 18 with neuropsychiatric pathologies, from among those receiving special social services at home within the framework of the state social order.
3. Taxi services.
4. Within the framework of the state social order, training is being conducted for people with visual disabilities in the use and application of skills in dental rehabilitation; training in reading, writing in Braille; digital literacy training (using a computer, Internet, smartphone, social services portal, E-gov, receiving EDS, etc.); language courses; teaching lessons in household self-service.
5. Organization of the "TenQogam" social support center for people with disabilities.

Registration of guardianship and trusteeship

The Department carries out work on the provision of services for the establishment of guardianship, guardianship, as well as the issuance of permits for the use of funds and permits for the alienation of property in relation to adult incapacitated persons in Kostanay.
